Following successful careers working in government agencies, vehicle finance and unsecured credit finance, Jeff made a more permanent move into financial services in 1999, in particular within the mortgage industry. Jeff was key to the growth of a company that subsequently was acquired by Morgan Stanley in 2005.
Jeff assisted moving the sales through important changes such as regulation and was visionary in helping create a unique mortgage intermediary on-line trading solution. Latterly he had responsibility for adapting and growing his sales team from an intermediary proposition into a corporate mortgage lender.
Attaining the level of Head of Sales at the age of 32 years old he was integral at the time to sales recruiting, setting up an intermediary sales department including the day-to-day sales functioning of what was often described as one of the finest intermediary sales teams in the industry. He delivered a successful launch of the lender into the industry following a dominant display at the Mortgage Expo at Earls Court in November 2006.
Strategically, he was responsible for the setting up and management of a new build sales department and ran this alongside the intermediary sales team gaining key group level relationships with all of the top UK house builders. Within six months other lenders had described Jeff’s team as their most credible threat to dominance in this sector.
Always taking a consultative approach to sales, Jeff states “I have always been excited and encouraged by feedback from my customers that their business have hugely benefited from my advice and experience. My approach is always to ensure everyone wins from the business opportunities Equitable Business Solutions creates, allowing sustainable growth through fair and equitable dealings between all parties involved". Many customers have also benefited from his desire to add value to their business and thus creating further opportunities.
In recognition of his skill and experience, Jeff is proud to be accepted as an Associate of the Institute of Business Consulting, which is an organisation within the Chartered Management Institute. This will give encouragement and confidence to any company or person engaging with Equitable Business Solutions on a professional basis.
